Save The Montana Breweries!

To: Director, Montana Department of Revenue
The Montana Department of Revenue is proposing increasing restrictions on customers in the tasting rooms of Montana breweries.

“42.13.601 SMALL BREWERY RESTRICTIONS
(4) Product samples may not be sold, offered for sale, given away, consumed, or allowed to be consumed before 10 a.m. or after 8 p.m.”

If this new rule is passed, customers will not be allowed to finish their pints of beer after 8:00 p.m, PINTS THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR!

We ask you to sign this petition in objection to the proposed alteration of this rule affecting beer lovers across Montana.

This petition is to be presented at the public hearing held in the Director's Office (Fourth Floor) Conference Room of the Sam W. Mitchell Building, at Helena, Montana on August 7, 2008, at 1:30 p.m.

“We, the undersigned, object to the PROPOSED ADOPTION AND AMENDMENT of 42.13.601 -SMALL BREWERY RESTRICTIONS, specifically the consumption of legally-purchased beer after 8:00 p.m. on a brewery’s premise.”
Sincerely,

The Undersigned
